It's been a while since I've updated so this entry's quite long. Plus, I also wanted to try the limited free journal skin.

||DOD Photoshoot||

I had a Dream of Doll-themed shoot with ninjapeps last Nov. 7 at my aunt's house. I had actually been planning this for a few months back since I wore the outfit last Ozinefest. Unfortunately, it kept getting postponed due to some small problems but I'm happy that it finally pushed through.

Let me just share some wacky moments I experienced before the shoot. Whenever there is an event that I'm planning to attend, my mother would always remind me to fix my things the night before so that I don't get panicking in the morning on what to bring. Unfortunately, I tend to get lazy and doze off to sleep without fixing my stuffs. The same thing happened this time around. So by morning, I was hacking through my closet at a lightning speed. I then realized two things: I had forgotten that I wore my black knee-high socks during Mega Masquerade and I couldn't find my wig. So I started to panic. Haha! But of course, every problem has a solution. I called up the laundry shop and luckily they were done with the last laundry we sent them. Problem #1 solved. Just as I was leaving the house, giving up on looking for wig and deciding to settle with my real hair, I made a final check on my closet and voila! It was there all along. Oh, and that was the first time that I did my make-up on my own without mom's help in approximately five minutes record time. Now that's an improvement.

||Nicole's Birthday Party||

After rushing home, I had to get ready for Nicole's birthday party which was held at her house. I got there just in time before dinner started, but not before encountering a few road problems (My mom drives. I navigate. ). The funny thing is I got to her area before Peppy did but he arrived at her house first before I did. Nicole's home is located at #503. He overshot to #533. Our car overshot to #592. All aboard the fail-boat people!

When I arrived, me and Nicole went to her room to get ready for a bit of casual cosplay which we planned beforehand. She was supposed to be Kuroro and I, Kurapika. But then, there was an impromptu change of plans. She became Kyouya and I, Tamaki. Of course, an obligatory photoshoot cannot be missed. Hahaha! Special mention goes to Ria for being our impromptu directress because, I swear, I know nothing of how Tamaki acts since I never got to watch Ouran.

And last, we got a dose of cheek muscles torture for all the youtube-viewing session we had to endure. My God, I never thought laughing so hard for a long period of time would actually be painful for the facial muscles.

When I got home, I was very shocked to find out that Ria and Peppy's side mirrors were stolen. I'm sure those bastards who stole them would get their own dose of bad karma. It's a good thing that they were able to get replacement mirrors a day or two after.

Apart from the unfortunate incident and although it was just small gathering of friends, the party was definitely a blast!

||Dinner with Mom at Little Tokyo||

It was my mom's birthday this past Nov. 12 and I wanted to treat her somewhere to eat. I've been wanting to try out Little Tokyo before so I decided it was a good time to do so. I had originally planned for us to eat at Hana but we were unfamiliar with the place and mom didn't want us to look like we are, so in the end, we randomly picked a restaurant and ended up eating at Washoku Kikufuji. The food there tasted really good just like what others have been claiming. Mom definitely enjoyed the dinner treat so I'm sure we'll be going back there in the future. We'll be trying a different restaurant next time around and hopefully, we'll get to try that authentic Takoyaki many people are talking about.

||Random Ramblings||

I am both excited and anxious for M3 Con, which is only just a few days from now.
Hopefully, I'll get to have that Mitsuru Kirijo and another DOD shoot done before the year ends.
I can't wait for this term to end and proceed with Christmas vacation. But alas, there are still school requirements to be dealt with.
